The We Promise Foundation celebrated its 6th Annual Diamonds in the Sky Gala on September 14, 2011 at the beautiful Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel. Through the generous support of our sponsors, donors and guests, this event raised more than $261,700 to make dreams come true for children struggling with life-threatening illnesses and severe hardship. We were honored to be joined by celebrity emcee, Actress Teri Polo and co-emcee WAVY TV anchor Kerri Fury, with a live performance by Poco and Firefall. Other notable guests include Washington Redskin alumni and children from Make-a-Wish and Toby’s Dream Foundation. We are tremendously grateful to our supporters who have enabled children to have the opportunity to live their dream, thanks to their support of the Diamonds in the Sky Gala.
